firo sportphoto

We, Jürgen Fromme and Ralf Ibing, founded firosportphoto in 1992.

What began in a small backyard led almost 30 years later to one of the leading independent sport photo agencies in Germany. Our ambition is to find a perfect and outstanding perspective in every moment. Since the early days, this is our mission and we as a team accept this challenge every day. We have been on the road all over the world and captured moments such as World Championships, European Championships or studio and customized productions, in photographs. Our clients come from various fields: big corporations, advertising agencies, football clubs, magazines, publishing companies and many more. We are proud that we still work together with our earliest customers.

We flew by helicopter over Siberia, Cape Town and Sydney, we photographed sports stars under waterfalls in South Africa and drove through the desert of Arabia. We photographed polititians and presidents and every sports star of the last 30 years, on and off the playing field: Franz Beckenbauer on the Southfork Ranch, Michael Schumacher in the pit lane, Boris Becker in his private surroundings and Manuel Neuer in our studio.

Every new job is a new and exciting challenge. No matter what event, a spectacular game or a youth football tournament, we always give 100 % and make the best out of every situation.

Thanks to our international network of partner agencies , we are able to offer a wide-ranging portfolio. Since the early days, we put our trust in the high-quality photographic equipment of Canon and we very much appreciate their support over the last years.
